Easy Grade Pro and Orbis unite with Edline

Orbis Software has merged with Edline, a leading provider of web site, portal, and online classroom solutions.  Orbis and Edline had previously worked together as strategic partners, and over time it became clear that our respective products – and companies – could accomplish far more together than either could do alone.

A few examples of things we will be working on together for the 2008-2009 school year include:

• A district-based, web-enabled version of Easy Grade Pro that deploys and updates through the web via the Edline platform, while providing the same functionality and rich GUI experience that teachers have come to appreciate from Easy Grade Pro.

• New web-based data transfer and synchronization solutions for Easy Grade Pro that make data exchange with other systems (SIS, Assessment, Data Warehouse, etc.) seamless and easy to manage, also built on Edline’s proven enterprise infrastructure.

• New classroom management functionality, combined with the Edline product, including web-based calendars, parent communication, online homework hand-in, web-based classroom assessments that integrate with the gradebook, and more.
